Sustainable Arboriculture
At Preservation Tree we believe in the need to practice sustainable arboriculture. We have taken several steps to cut down our carbon emissions and protect our environment. Some of the things we practice
-use of biodegradable bar oils and two stroke fuel mixes
-recycling our wood products by turning our chips into mulch and our wood into firewood
-we support broadcasting brush and wood piles into the woods to cut down on invasive species, and establish habitat for natives
-our climbers use very high tech handsaws for most of our pruning cuts that limits our need for chainsaws
-we run our trucks on B5 bio-diesel
-our plant health care program is built around organic compost tea that is harmless to the environment but very beneficial for your plants!
