Pruning
Our arborists prune to ANSI A300 standards and the best management practices as laid out by the International Society of Arboriculture. Pruning is both an art and a science and is one of the most often misunderstood aspects of our industry. Our emphasis is on achieving a natural look that is good for tree health and maintains a balance with aesthetic concerns.
Cabling and Bracing
Cabling and bracing is another practice that is commonly overprescribed and improperly installed. We will make every effort to offer this service in a manner that takes BCMA and ANSI standards to heart as well as the latest research on the subject. We will predominantly use EHS cables with through lags for the majority of our cabling projects. However non-invasive cabling systems will also be prescribed where the situation arises and research becomes clearer on their effectiveness.

Although the idea of tree removal goes against our company name it is often time a highly necessary action as trees have finite lives and our main jobs as arborists is to mitigate the natural world with the urban landscape. Every measure will be taken to use the latest in technologies to make this rigorous and dangerous work as safe and efficient as possible.

Trees are often times installed improperly by unskilled laborers or homeowners. This is why we offer these services to promote proper planting procedures to reduce the likelihood of failure or poor tree health down the road.

This high tech field is becoming increasingly prevalent on the east coast, as more and more local ordinances require tree preservation during the construction process. We will offer these services through consultation, planning and implementation of the prescribed procedures, which may include root pruning, trenching, fencing and CAD design. We will also offer our services to manage forest buffer zones in an environmentally conscious manner that encourages native plant diversity and invasive species eradication.
